OUR RESEARCH
Understanding information.
Expanding what’s possible.
We connect the foundations of quantum mechanics with questions in computation, learning, communication, and measurement.
Quantum Information Science
Understanding the information at the heart of quantum mechanics.
We investigate how quantum systems store, transform, and reveal information. Our theoretical work examines coherence, entanglement, causality, and the operational limits of quantum processes. These questions provide a foundation for understanding what quantum technologies can achieve—and under which conditions.
